Visual, precise and demanding: a quality protocol at each stage.

Visual inspection: the first step in quality control.
Our experts carry out meticulous visual checks, with the naked eye and under a binocular lens, to guarantee an irreproachable result.
Naked eye control
Each piece is inspected manually to detect any visible appearance defects: homogeneity of the deposit, color variations.
Inspection under a binocular lens (x10 to x40)
Thanks to these magnifications, our operators control the details invisible to the naked eye: homogeneity of the deposit, finish of the edges, fineness of the engravings.
Control the thickness to the nearest micron
To guarantee durability and respect for thicknesses, deposits can be measured using high-precision equipment. Several methods are used depending on the materials and technical requirements.
Micrometric screw gauge measurement
Digital display for quick control of thicknesses, ideal for the first check.
X-ray fluorescence analysis
A non-destructive, accurate and fast method used to measure the thickness of metal layers with extreme reliability.
Micrographic cut
Destructive method used for the most advanced checks: the part is sectioned, polished and then analyzed to visualize the various layers deposited.
Pushing the limits of control.
To guarantee the resistance of each finish over time and under the most extreme wear conditions, we can carry out additional tests. These protocols make it possible to simulate the stresses that rooms will undergo on a daily basis.
Adhesive grid
An adhesion test that consists in applying an adhesive tape to check the stability of the deposit.
Bending test
The part is folded on itself to observe the reaction of the coating in the face of strong mechanical stress.
